Wellington-Harrington – bounded by Somerville to the north, Boston & Albany Railroad to the east and Hampshire Street to the south – is a small, high-density residential neighborhood with around 7,000 residents. It has the second-highest average population density of all neighborhoods in Cambridge. The major commercial areas in Wellington-Harrington include Inman Square, which is at one corner of the neighborhood, and Cambridge Street, which lies along one edge. At another corner of the neighborhood is the One Kendall Square complex, which includes high-tech offices and labs, as well as restaurants, stores, and the Kendall Cinema.
